Bbs is a bafang motor I think Hd stands for heavy duty (will be happy to be corrected)just checked ...mine was advertised as 52v as well (motor 48v)

I have just finished a bbshd conversion with 48v 17.5ah battery and everybody that has had a go on it says the exact same thing on returning it.........F ing hell......mine is the 1000w version but peak power is slightly wound down from 30a to 28a because the voltage on a fully charge battery...

Are you hitting rocks and roots or the floor ? 30% sag is the recommended setting. 25% on forks Are you measuring your sag with all your weight on the bike (rucksack etc)

Sounds more like a shock problem,How much sag have you got on your rear shock and forks,are you on the "heavy" side
