    Brexit, for once some facts.

You tend to conveniently forget that 52% voted for brexit. Parliament has to deliver on the substantive issue that has been decided and choose a path that keeps as many voters on board as possible, that means not in the hand of any one party, and possibly keep the door ajar just enough in case...

Not a Gtech specific thread but lets talk about dealership attitude.

Beach, when you call one of us, you get to speak with someone who has thorough knowledge of the products we sell. That is a bit more than just box shifting.

that is a good thing. Parliament must be in the driving seat to reflect the will of the people.

if you pay yourself a minimal amount, then buy the bike and pay with company's funds. If you are registered for VAT, then you can reclaim the VAT as you do with purchases of tools and other equipment. As the bike is expected to be used for 4 years and costing more than £500, you can post the...

yes, you can do that (recover the VAT and use depreciation of plants & machinery to write off the bike) but the saving is more than double if you claw back NI and ENI through salary sacrifice.

Non-legal mountain e-bike with good torque and top speed that is under 1500 quid?

agreed. However, there is currently no legal way to turn a legal e-bike into a motorbike. Otherwise, I would have no objection to derestriction.

no, have never dealt with Paul. In general, I try hard to discourage my customers derestricting their bikes or reprogram their kits. That increases the probability of troubles. 10% is OK but anything more than that, I start to fret.

You need to read up on fractional reserve banking. You only have to own a bank, you can then lend out money that you borrow elsewhere with only a small (3%-5%) capital of your own. It's like a ponzi scheme, everyone's money is lent to everyone else, including the guys who are up to their...

to be fair to gubbins, I was frantically trying to contact a customer this morning when I got a message on facebook that she tried to swap her pedals and they did not go in.

that's why it's good to talk. if the customer can't do it him/herself, then we'll call a local bike shop to arrange for the repair.

agreed. if in a similar case, I always get one of my technicians to call the customer back and stay in touch until the problem is resolved. You can get to a correct diagnosis a lot more quickly over the phone than you can with email.

is that bike shop far from you? I would have thought any bike shop can sort this out in 10 minutes. It may be worth to take a look at the video: http://www.bikeradar.com/gear/article/how-to-bleed-shimano-disc-brakes-43182/

    Brexit, for once some facts.

brexit has already born some fruit. Lessen the level of immigration and reduce imports. House price increases less. PSBR is less too.
