ummm. very likely. It will though. The people who voted for brexit will likely be the same who will kick the tories out when they fail to deliver 'bigly'.

our banks still pay CT here. What I am saying is the potential loss of bank passporting is oversold by remainers. Deals can still be done in London and booked in Dublin. The banks aren't panicking. The bigger losers are the corporate lawyers.

OG, believe the propaganda if you like. All multinationals like Google, FB etc know very well how to move profit. The losers in all this are the local governments, never the multis. The loss in London is quality jobs but that does not affect shareholders.

Ask any accountant you like, from the point of view of the share holders, it does not matter much where the profit is made. The (corporate) profit will be repatriated to London because of tax treaties. The same way GS' or JP Morgan's profit made in London go back to New York.

I wonder why 'air cars' did not take on. Surely compressed air is easier to fill up the cars than current charging stations?

The branches remit their profit to the head office. do you know that for example HSBC operate more than 1,000 different brandings and territories and their profit is sent to London?

Oldtom, that's the remainers propaganda. All the big banks have already set up branches in EU countries. At the moment, back to back transactions make a lot of money to London. In the future, the EU may restrict that sort of transactions to only EU countries. It will increase slightly operating...

of course government policies affect everyone. At the moment, it is less cost effective to train your own mechanics. But if mechanics become short supplied, then everyone will want to have in-house training.

No. The leaning of the after brexit government won't affect small businesses like yours and mine as much as knowing that everyone will dip into the same pool. If we all have to train own own staff rather than simply advertising the vacancies, the whole country will do better.

those kids don't work because nobody wants to employ them. As long as the positions are filled by immigrants, nobody cares. Give them some practical education, they'll change. Most will become employable. Hatti hires them to unload the containers, as I help to unload the containers too, I do get...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I actually believe some of the brexit arguments, a small net dividend (around £10-£14 billions a year) for not contributing into the EU budget, a reduction in costs for businesses in lighter regulations (about £10-£20 billions a year) and some growth in future FTAs. The main thing for me is the...

if we make a new law that says each EU immigrant has to take on an apprentice in order to get a residence permit, you solve this problem.

I wouldn't lose sleep worrying about people like Rees-Mogg - they have never done a day's real work in their life. We have millions of youngsters needing apprenticeships.

brexit forces change, otherwise, the people wouldn't want to pay for the costs of change.
