    Brexit, for once some facts.

Ok I read that posting but it's all rhetoric,it doesn't say how leaving the EU is going to make us richer, either socially or economically. Liam Fox keeps kicking out such rhetoric but no detail,on detail like most Brexiters he is very evasive. The EU has done a lot of good things over the years...

EBMA files an anti dumping complaint on chinese e-bikes.

Batribike tried to build e-bikes in the UK....to my knowledge it was not a success ,the bikes were ok but IMHO opinion £500 too much, they reduced the price from £1700 to £1200. The bike was not dissimilar to my Kudos mountain style bike. KudosDave

No,I hardly sell any e-bikes into Ireland,it's performance auto parts....rallying is very popular in the north and the south. KudosDave

If we don't Brexit then the problem goes away. But pushing that aside,I haven't yet heard that the EU in the negotiations are prepared to pay us to leave, nobody has suggested that the EU will cough up for anything.....so,if a border is necessary as a result of Brexit, the EU will insist on us...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I have a customer in Northern Ireland who is doing very well,I have a customer in Ireland who is doing very badly. Both those sellers are close to the border, the only difference between them is the strength of the Euro versus the weakness of the Pound. Customers are driving across the border to...

They asked Carol Malone (ardent Brexiter) on the Pledge, exactly the same question, she gave the standard 'democracy, will of the people' answer but like you and every Brexiter I know she had no answer as to how Brexit is economic sense. I genuinely don't understand the arguments from Brexiters...

    Brompton on Swipe TV.

But most Brits don't like torque sensors. Reading postings on this forum so often customers don't understand the ditterence between torque and speed sensors. Also torque sensors are unreliable, even the best have problems. Torque sensors are sold by dodgy sales guys....customers don't usually...

EBMA files an anti dumping complaint on chinese e-bikes.

David...... Don't swop sides just because you think that our government will delete anti dumping duties post Brexit. May could easily continue with the anti-dumping duties, explaining that she is protecting our vulnerable industries. She would pocket the duty rather than give it to the EU,very...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Tories including Theresa May are being controlled by 80 (maybe only 50) hard right members.....we know who they are....Rees-Mogg,Bone,IDS,Redwood.....note I don't include Boris,he will change sides to who seems the winner. The 'bastards' as Cameron called them don't want to be in the...

    Brompton on Swipe TV.

Just watched the prototypes of the Brompton e-bike on TV. It appeared similar to the current offering from many on this forum, but they said it had been specially developed by Williams GP engineering. The girl interviewer made the comment it didn't seem to be working, the MD of Brompton told her...

Except the 'Spanish' e-bikes are often fully manufactured and assembled in Shanghai....I have a pile of EN 15194 certificates that are from a very well known Spanish e-bike supplier that are from SFS Shanghai. We cannot assemble a bike for 50 dollars like they do in China and the U.K consumer...

That's not really fair....us importers from China have continually updated our e-bikes,without much increase in prices, despite the dramatic fall in the value of the pound v US dollar. Look at the difference in weight and technology over 5 years. KudosDave

Junkers analogy that if 28 people were together in a bar and one leaves you would expect the leaver to pay. Junkers knows a lot about bars! It's an awful analogy,OK the guy leaving may leave his share on the bar,or his mates may say....don't worry we'll pick up the tab......but nobody would...

Nobody would welcome a trade war,but Trump clearly started this one,I am sure if you were an employee in Bombardier,N.I remand, you would want our government to respond positively and make Trump/Boeing think twice,300% on every Boeing into the EU,would make Trump think twice. But what do the UK...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Guardian is suggesting that May is a Remainers champion and is closer to Hammond than rhetoric would suggest. She didn't slap Hammond down when he said he wasn't going to spend money to prepare for a 'no deal' scenario. She has been forced to delay her repeal bill because 7 amendments are...

The argument between Bombardier and Boeing gives us a foresight of trade life for the UK and the rest of the world, post Brexit. Trump has put on a 300% tariff onto Bombardier sales into the US,we are told that Boeing is concerned about Bombardiers new C class plane taking a big market share. It...

But in a democracy we should have the right to read these studies and make up our own minds...this government are desperately trying to hide the truth because it wont fit with the Tory right wing agenda...I wonder what hold the Tory bastards have got over this PM and actually all recent PM's...

Was this written on the other side of the big red bus..... The so-called divorce bill covers things like the pensions of former EU staff in the UK, the cost of relocating EU agencies based in the UK and outstanding commitments to EU programmes. The UK has said it will meet its legal requirements...
