    Presumably, if you bike is 7 1/2 years old it has the lower voltage battery/motor?

    To get back to the comparison aspect of this post, is anybody able to shed more light upon the apparent lack of power of the Panasonic motor? Can anyone provide personal experience of the ability of the later Panasonic drive bikes with 36v batteries e.g. the KTM Amparo 8?

    Beats any other cuisine into a cocked hat. Besides, regularly fuelling up with curry provides another form of assist. Useful when the battery is flat.

    but you can choose selectively for maximum effect I usually select a nice curry

    I know the problem and I know the solution. Eat less!!! My weight gain has got worse since I developed a heart problem. Less exercise = loss of muscle. Getting back to a bike is intended to improve my fitness.
