Does any one own a Gepida Berig ebike & live near to Ealing, West London?

9yr old Gepida Berig with Yamaha crank motor & re-celled battery shows 29.2V on bike but head control switch on handle bar shows 4 full red lights for 1 second & then reverts to one light only flashing ie no power. Cables look undamaged & connectors are as if new. Any suggestions to rectify...

Has anybody had experience of removing the controller from inside the central motor casing of a 9yr old model of Gepida Berig? New battery, showing 29.2V, is showing 4 red lights ie full strength for 1 second & then reverts to lowest strength number one flashing hence power assist not kicking in.

8yr old battery on Gepida bike. Worked OK. Unused for 1yr. Recharged inadvertently left for 1 week in charger. Showing only 1.6V. Charger says charged but still only reached 1.6v. Internal fuse ok. Any suggestions please? Any source for cheaper replacement than Gepida quote of €545? Hugh
