I have noticed that one of the negative comments regarding indicators on this thread received rather a lot of likes. It seems to me that this forum consists of just a few regulars that just seem to agree with each other as long as it's a negative. I would imagine that these members ride high...

Now i'm thinking my original post should really have read "WingLights - What a blinking good idea" Thanks to this forum for making me aware of WingLights. Apparently, the designers of this product were interviewed by the BBC last night. Should be interesting. Much more info to read and see here...

They are of a similar fitting but otherwise totally different. These cheap Chinese ones are plastic and come with either flashing red or clear lights. What's the good of that !? The WingLights are a quality metal design with amber light flashing at the same rate as motor vehicles. See photo...

I agree. But what a problem finding one that gives a good view of behind, not just a view of your own arm! See how i overcame that problem (photo at top)

For design, i much prefer these Blinkergrips. They are easily operated with a thumb switch. They just need to be a little bigger and brighter i think. My own view only though! http://blinkergrips.com/

Yes, these are Winkku's. They are available on Ebay and Amazon. They are self contained units using 3 AA batteries. The right is black whereas the left is grey, strange, i don't like that! I think they are probably the best on the market at mo but i would have designed them differently, making...

I find they work well. They flash at the same rate as a motor vehicle so there is no mistaking what they are. They have got to be the brightest LEDs on the market today. They would have been better if they were made without the mirror, just a light. NOTE: These are actually designed to fit into...

Or you can buy mud-flaps on Ebay, from Germany, quite cheap.

The SKSs are a bit narrow for my Big Apples so i fitted these Viking mudguards. They came with all the fittings including mudflaps and were only £16.95 a pair including next day delivery.

Thanks Trex and Flecc, the ones from Wiggle are just what i had in mind. I may have to make some alterations to get them to fit but i'm sure it will work.

Does anyone know where i can obtain a proper rear mudguard to fit my Zephyr CDN? One like in the old days where it came down over the wheel and was held on with proper supports. Cannot find any on Ebay etc. This time of the year, down country lanes like this, mud and water flying everywhere!
