I like the look of the dongles but the firmware appears to be a more elegant solution the would maintain the use of the on board computer etc. Seems like it should be easy to do but in reality I might have it all wrong.

Hi This is the exact bike i'm looking at but i'm not sure I fully grasp bikes yet.. If it's limited to 15.5mph then does it not contribute above that speed? I can easily ride above that speed and am concerned that it will be no use above that speed. Am I missing something? can someone explain...
