Vaping devices fall into two categories - electronic and mechanical. The ones with LED's, adjustable watts and temp are electronic. Mechanical devices are simply a battery in a tube and a push button to operate.

Judging by the appalling standard of driving/riding on the roads around West London by all road users seemingly going unnoticed by Plod, I seriously doubt they have any interest in e-bikes of any description.

I've just bought a BBSHD kit from Luna Cycle in the US. Super easy to deal with and quick delivery. I'm currently modifying a Specialized mtb to a 'battery in frame' emtb inspired by their Turbo Levo. Lots of other mods to come including Rohloff hub and Gates carbon belt drive.

Will post some pics as I go through the build. First job is to spread the rear drop-outs by 15mm to accomodate my original 9 speed set. Next, is to build up the drop-outs to give more depth and meat, and fabricate some torque arms and lugs. Hopefully, I'll get all this done this weekend ready...
