    Battery Noise

Hi all, I have a Cerrera Crosfire E around 2 years old. Not used it for a few weeks. Randomly noticed a noise coming from the battery. It’s like buzzing / vibrating noise. The battery is full and display lights up normal. The noise stopped when I pressed the battery button. Any ideas?

Carrera Crossfire Stops Pedal Assist At 16mph

Hi all, Not posted for a while. Just been out on the Crossfire for the first ride since September. I'm convinced the Pedal assist used to cut out at 18mph, today it was cutting out at around 16mph. Am I mistaken at thinking it was 18 mph. Cheers

The Dreaded Cut Out On My 3 Week Old Crossfire argh!!!

So I've only done 70 miles in 2 Saturday rides, went out today, 12 miles in, going up hill and the display died. I got it back on but it was locked in tour mode and seemed to take a few seconds to respond to my button inputs. I slid the display off and on which resolved that issue. However, I...

    Gears And Battery Life

Did quite a high hill climb on my new Crossfire, image below. I had it in a low gear, but this got me thinking about battery life. Does the gear choice affect battery life?

My first long ride on my new Carrera Crossfire

A few of you will have seen my previous post deciding which bike to go for. I ended up with the Crossfire due to a few reasons, battery size and range, 700c wheels, price in the sale and BC discount £891, also I had a test ride and it felt easier to ride than my hybrid with 26 inch wheels even...

Thoughts on using high intensity flashing red light during day

As above, I want to be seen but don't want to dazzle and annoy drivers. I saw another cyclist using them in the day and thought it was a good idea.

Break Sensors For Intergrated Gear / Break Lever

Hi, I'm undecided between buying an e bike or converting my brilliant subway. The Subway has intergrated gear / break levers and I don't want to mess around with them. How easy is it to add sensors to my existing breaks and wire them into a kit? Also, I want a rack battery, the subway has...

Hybrid Tyres, Will Slicks Make A Difference

Hi, I'm currently either buying an e bike or converting my Subway. In the meantime, the Subway has semi slick stock Kenda tyres. I'm thinking of changing them to slicks to reduce rolling resistence. Will this help me with the hills, as less resistence would mean less energy required, and...

    Crossfire Or Kudos Tourer D9

Hi peeps, I'm new to the forum. I'm looking at the two bikes above. I really like the Kudos due to style and the extras supplied, mudguards, lights, rack, panniers. The Crossfire appears to come with wheels and a longer battery life. Any opinions on the LiFePO4 battery on the Kudos? Also...
