    Not a bad deal..

Every the supposed rrps look too good to be true... 399 for a bike with a Bosch mid drive?

    Carrera display unit

I would imagine they are but you would lose the miles on your odometer and any settings (metric or imperial etc)

Halfords Carrera Crossfire e Battery cutting off...

I've only had a cut off three times in about 250 miles and it's not been enough to spoil my experience of the bike... Notably the first time I got it was straight after I accidentally dropped the bike onto it's side... No damage to bike but literally as soon as I started pedaling it cut out. Had...

Halfords Carrera Crossfire e Battery cutting off...

I've had the cutoff about 3 times in 250 miles... Would prefer it didn't but taking the battery off and putting it back on does fix it and it doesn't bother me too much. I was aware of it before I bought it having read reviews and forums but the price is good for what you get.

Suntour sp12-Ncx question for anyone with a Carrera Croasfire e...

Speaking for myself I got an ebike because I had really bad back problems so it made sense for me to get a sprung seat for the first time when I got an ebike because it's easier on my back. I would imagine the thoughts could be similar for a suspension seat post.

    Carrera Crossfire ebike Battery Charger

To be honest I don't even know if Halfords ever have these in to buy anyway... From the posts on this forum nobody seems to be able to buy a battery or charger from them.

Seat post rack, quick release or not?

I've used a topeak seatpost rack for about 7 years... Done coast to coast 4 times on 3 different bikes with it on... That's the benefit for me, I can just take it off one bike and put it on another really easily. never had any problems with it getting nicked but don't leave it locked up for...

    Carrera e range

I was actually mocked during the ride today by some passing cyclists for this beer reason. I've offered to get her one but until she can't make it up the hills she is determined to carry on.

    Carrera e range

For anybody interested in what the realistic range on a Carrera e is... I'm 14 stone and ride generally on or around the Sunderland end of the C2C route so they're are quite a few short hills that can be quite step and frequent but no real big long hills. If I go out on my own I normally leave...

    Carerra Vulcan

I wondered about the difference in advertised range between the Vulcan and crossfire as well given they are the same electrical system and battery size... Came to the following assumptions... it could be down to 3 things... Tires Expected terrain ridden on our terrain range was tested on...

    First ever ebike impression

I'm really enjoying it (130 miles in so still a newbie). I've also found small maneuvering turns one of the most difficult things but for the reason that I'm going really slow having braked, turn the front wheel quite a lot then gently pedal into the tight turn and as soon as the pedals turn the...

    Electric Brompton

I seem to remember an announcement following the original one about an electric Brompton coming out soon that said they were scrapping the idea as they couldn't get a design that would retrofit back to the first Bromptons (something they've always said any new features or parts would do which is...

    Halfords E-Bikes

Only thing I would say is that Halfords had put a cable tie on both sides of the connector to the back wheel and I've cut off the one in the wheel side of the connector as it would have stopped me removing the wheel to change the inner tube of I got a puncture out and about with the tools I take...

    Halfords E-Bikes

I'm a relatively new crossfire e owner... Had it for four weeks (two of which I was away on holiday so couldn't ride it). Done 120 miles so far and really pleased with my purchase.

Does an e bikes acceleration confuse drivers

I've just started e biking and had a couple of occasions where cars have pulled out at junctions uphill from me when I think if they'd judged the speed I was going they would have waited... I think they have expected a bike to be going slower uphill

Looking for a very light weight Step through bike

I wouldn't worry to much about where to put a bag/panniers if you find the right bike without a rack... I use one of these and it's just fits on the seat post with a quick release clamp, no need to even get a screw driver out to fit...

Is there any good reason not to buy a Greenway E16M106?

Yeah, I'm limited to the cycle2work scheme I believe (I would say unfortunately but it was fine as wanted the crossfire e anyway). I work for a big company that has a benefits website and you apply through that... Only scheme they support on the benefits website is the cycle2work scheme.
