Windsurf or canoe gloves are ideal for cycling, mostly made of neoprene and grippy palms, they are designed to hold cold wet bars and are windproof too. Nice bright colours are an advantage too!

Thanks David for the offer of spare parts Ive had to reconstruct the whole FCB and have had to remove some of the connecting blocks and by pass some as the bottom wires wouldn't go back in. I have now got 98% of it working so I'm happy I will not be needing any parts. I know now a lot more...
