Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

One of the difficulties with my disability, ME, is that it is very hard for people to understand. What seams trivial to someone without it, like turning pedals for the length of a full journey, can actually be exhausting to someone with ME. That is why my twist and go has had such a positive...

Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

That is an idea I thought about, but in the end I bought a new one. If it broke down I could be royally screwed as I can't cycle or walk my way home. I'd have to lock the bike to something next to where I broke down and try to get a lift. I didn't want to risk that so I got a new and reliable bike.

Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

I thought about that but decided against it. The polls get closed after a certain time there and as I don't really have the energy to campaign on this issue more then posting on some forums and facebook I doubted I would get that many signatures in a short time span. Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

There are significant disadvantages to moving from an eBike to an eMoped. Cost being one, especially as someone who is too disabled to pedal is probably too disabled to work, so a few hundred pounds a year extra on insurance and whatnot is actually a real issue. Taking the CBT and tests also...

Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

Last month I got an eBike and being able to get about on it once in a while, when I have the energy, has been wonderful. Unfortunately if I use it without pedaling, the only way I can use it, I am actually breaking the law. Hopefully this petition can help the movement to legalise the use of...

Sub £1000 full throttle bike for someone with ME (chronic fatigue)

I'd rather get something new then second hand, breaking down would be a big deal. Since that is not possible for a bike, is there a twist and go kit that would be recommended?

Sub £1000 full throttle bike for someone with ME (chronic fatigue)

I am looking for a bike that I don't need to peddle as I don't have the spare energy for that. I won't be using it for long journeys, just once or twice a week around town. Ideally a sit up and beg style, again to save energy as it is a more relaxing posture. Any suggestions would be most...
