    Advice about an E-Bike

Here's one near me almost as steep, ignore the terrain profile graphic as there is no downhill bit in this hill. A 12.2 mph climbing speed seems reasonable enough despite not being in the least bit bike fit at the moment. https://www.strava.com/segments/11810750

The EBIKE Law that doesn't make ANY SENSE (and it DISCRIMINATES)

We have quite a lot of more challenging hills here, as of course many other areas of the UK have. https://www.strava.com/segments/10040936?filter=overall

Suggestions for Cycle Route Planner ?

I've used Komoot a few times, if I remember correctly you can use one location area for free, and a one-off payment for greater coverage. https://www.komoot.com/

Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

It is how the community responded that I find the most disconcerting, for me it conjures up an imagine of a lawless ghetto where lawbreaking is seen as normal and acceptable, and this attitude is spreading throughout the country. I don't think I've seen any discussion here about the burning of...

Two boys die in "ebike" accident: Cardiff riot broke out after 'police prevented parents seeing fatal crash victims', close relative says

I wouldn't do this on my petrol moped so why he thinks it is fine to do so on a faster electric bike shows the issue with these bikes.

    Bosch powerpack frame classic+

Yes the batteries have done well because they've been hammered with me and the steep hills I have tackled, rapid discharges to flat on every ride then fully charged.

    Bosch powerpack frame classic+

Here's my 10-year-old KTM Macina, it still runs on the original battery and a spare bought just after purchase, it is now semi-retired.

    Hi

I'm the complete opposite in that I can't understand why anyone would find a bike that gives a set amount of assistance regardless of the power you put in enjoyable, give me a bike that works with you and rewards your efforts.

    First ladies ebike recommendations

Yes that's what I meant, the extra alloy section covering the wires.

    First ladies ebike recommendations

I am yes, the ones I've seen normally only fit a round tube, good to see the Hamax can deal with the wires section on your bikes.

I'd have thought the frame design would prevent the seat from fitting to the seat tube?

Bosch Smart system with Speedbox 1.0b (Don't buy)

I've not looked into this recently, however isn't part of the issue the GPS tracking? once that is activated I'd have thought it impossible not to get errors? Having upgraded from a Bosch Classic with hub gears to a Bosch CX on derailleur gears the lack of drag on the CX negates me wanting more...

    Mavic new ebike motor

I like it, a nice light and responsive bike for the flat with assistance to take the sting out of the hills, hopefully it'll be durable and not be ridiculously expensive.
