Hub motor making noise when spinning after accident

The wheel isn't perfectly straight but it doesn't seem to be crooked enough to cause any problems. I checked with the pencil and elastic band technique to the rim and it seems to be fairly straight and the disc brake rotor isn't scraping the brake pads either.

Hub motor making noise when spinning after accident

Yeah, you can't hear it very well in the video. It's audible in the beginning when I'm just turning the wheel slowly and then you can also hear it when I use the throttle starting 0:24. The spokes seem to be fine, none of them are loose, the wheel is bent a little though it might've been like...

Hub motor making noise when spinning after accident

Hi, I had an accident today causing me to come off the bike, the bike is a Carrera Crossfire 2 fitted with a Dillenger Samsung Power 2.0 kit. At first glance, it looked like only the derailleur had bent a bit and I thought I had gotten off easy. However, when I got on the bike again, I noticed...

    Question about torque arms installation

I think I got this one pretty secure, I installed the clip between the disc brake mount so it won't be sliding up the fork. You can also see that the axle nut is sticking out a bit on the photo, that wouldn't make it any less secure, right?

    Question about torque arms installation

Cheers, I'll flip the motor, I've been avoiding riding in the rain thus far. I'll leave the arm on the left-hand side like that, but I don't see a way that the one on the right can be fixed to the disc mount. Would it be okay if I just leave them both like that? I guess I could also switch and...

    Question about torque arms installation

Hi, I bought and installed two torque arms for my front hub motor. I just wanted to make sure that I have them properly installed and in the right direction since in some of the videos I watched they were installed in the opposite direction. Also, after I install the torque arm on the disc...

Front hub motor touching fork, what to do?

Sorry, I am a bit confused with all the washer names, I think I got it right but can you please check the photos? Vfr400, what did you mean by dropouts will pop? The dropout width is a standard 100mm, but with all of the washers, the wheel is a very tight fit and I have to force it down and...

Front hub motor touching fork, what to do?

No, I didn't know that but now when I think about it makes sense. The nut does overlap the dimple, I've attached a photo. Have I damaged the forks by tightening it like that, I haven't noticed anything obvious?

Front hub motor touching fork, what to do?

Alright, then I'll definitely get them installed just to be safe. Where would you recommend to get them from in the UK? Would the ones on ebay for £10-£15 get the job done?

Front hub motor touching fork, what to do?

No, I don't, they weren't included in the kit, but I was wondering if I should get them for extra safety.

Front hub motor touching fork, what to do?

Wow, thank you very much, it fits perfectly now. I feel so stupid, hopeful I haven't compromised the fork's strength with the filing I did.

Front hub motor touching fork, what to do?

Hi, I have a Carrera Crossfire and recently purchased the Dillenger e-bike conversion kit (700c wheel). Unfortunately, when I mount the new wheel and tighten the nuts, the motor is firmly pressed against the wheel and it can't rotate at all (I've circled where it touches it on the photo). I...
