having dabbled with the x35 system do you think its worth trying to transfer it over to another bike, my longitude has great drop outs that would take almost anything, i then just stick the sensor in a frame gap of which there are several on the drop out, put the battery in a tube and fit it to...

but if the aux battery is after sale and has no SN then im interested in how many will trigger the fault code and not work. seems odd that the in frame button is not coded but the handlebar mount is. interestingly the chargers have a SN on them too which makes me wonder if they have to match the...

    bikemotion x35

so far I have found out there are 2 versions with different control connectors, old ones had a square connector to the iwoc unit new ones are round similar to the motor connection. so if the motor and the sensor don't have SN connections that just leaves the control units, keep me in touch...

    bikemotion x35

oddly it looks like the standard ribble fitted button may not be coded, the aux battery i have cannot be as it has no SN so it looks like its the battery (which comes fitted to the controller but is shown in one of the exploded diagrams as slotting into the top of the controller tube so may not...

Bafang 250 or 500w for touring

so is there a way to future proof any forthcoming changes in the law moving up from 250W? if i switch the voltage up from 36v to 48 or can they be reprogrammed for power? its either that or changing the sticker it appears to me!

Bafang 250 or 500w for touring

but from what I read its 250W continuous rating and most 250W motors can peak at up to 500W? I only really want the bike to do distance and carry load rather than be fast, would a 250W do the job on most things other than really steep hills where i could let the speed drop off as long as i'm...
