Hi! My first e-bike is here, and I'm loving it

Yup! This is definitely something I've noticed when I'm coming back with shopping. To be fair to it, it doesn't happen on the flat. But if there's the slightest hill that raises the front wheel up it definitely wants to lift.

    Trigger Bell

Looks like a very similar sort of design to the trigger bell. But without the large-ish bell shape of mine. Having said that, my bell is pointing down from my handlebars, so I’m not too worried about it being conspicuous.

    Trigger Bell

Sorry! I put the link in the name of the bell in the original post. But here’s a link to the site. https://triggerbell.com/ and to Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00NZVQ49M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_RWRRXFMSA1RRHDWJVT70 I know what you mean about “bring-bring” bells, being from the...

    Trigger Bell

Disclaimer: I have no connection with the company. Although I will put in a link to them, I bought this off Amazon. If links aren’t allowed then please delete. So I just recently got my first electric bike, and of course the first thing I did was find all sorts of bits and pieces to attach to...

New cycleways springing up - thoughts?

Yeah, we’ve had some frankly weird decisions made by Reading council. We’ve got a few new cycle lanes, but they seem totally arbitrary in where they’ve been placed. There’s one near me that I’ve never actually seen a cyclist on, it’s about 500m long, is a two way cycle lane that replaced a car...

Vertical holes on rear rack (light/reflector?)

Looks like it has one hole in the middle, but I don’t see another. Might be worth a go though. I guess the second hold might be behind the quick release lever bit. Cheers for the find!

Vertical holes on rear rack (light/reflector?)

So I am slowly attaching stuff to my bike! However I have hit a snag. My rear rack has a tab on the back with two vertically oriented holes, 20mm apart at the midpoint. At the moment, I’ve jammed on a rear reflector. It was a standard seat post mount one, and the quick release jaws *almost*...

    Advice needed on wiring lights

Hah, thanks for the quick answer! I had a nasty feeling that might be the case. To be honest I’ve already invested in a couple of rechargeable lights that I’m pretty happy with. But I quite like the idea of having *some* light come on when I switch on the backlight. Maybe I'll take the...

    Advice needed on wiring lights

So I've recently jumped into Ebikes and got a Furo X Max, and I'm very happy with it However, I was learning all the functions of the controller that's fitted on this bike (CURTIS KD21C) and I've found that holding + on the controller switches on the screen backlight, but also is designed to...

Hi! My first e-bike is here, and I'm loving it

Hi Everyone, I just thought I'd step in and introduce myself. I have very recently purchased my first e-bike, a Furo systems X Max. I needed something that folded up for storing in my tiny studio flat, and at my girlfriends, and the cycle 2 work scheme made it considerably more affordable...
