I nealh according to the one I used online I set my my meter to continuity place one probe on the black battery feed coming into the controller the proceeded to check all the wires and none should make a sound but at least 2 of do make a sound on both units

Hi neal it was pretty well greased up I guess o will need to strip it and apply some good thick stuff just didn’t think with them being nylon ( plastic gears they would make such a noise so I am right in thinking there is nothing else really that can be causing this horrible noise ?
