    Head and tail lights kit.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks. This is why I like all kinds of forums. Before I buy something I don't know, it's always better to ask, because maybe someone has had their own experience with something. Thanks for this answer. Why not for much longer?

    Head and tail lights kit.

I found something like the link below. Anyone have any experience with this kit. https://www.amazon.co.uk/ebike-Light-Waterproof-Cable-Bafang/dp/B0BQ36KJB8?th=1

    Head and tail lights kit.

Is it possible to buy somewhere, a set of lights for the bike, front and rear, so that they connect to the bafang controller? I currently only have the front light that came with the kit. At the back I have a cheap battery light rechargeable via USB, everything would be ok, only this light...

    A different display connection.

Thanks. So it is a hardware issue. Since my motor has a controller based on the UART protocol there is no chance of an adapter to CANbus. Do I understand this correctly?

    A different display connection.

I wanted to buy a display for my Bafang BBSHD with Bluetooth I found something like the one pictured, however - I see a completely different plug shape there. In the description it says it's for the BBSHD motor, but, in my bike it's a round plug and here it's some sort of shaped plug. Are there...

    Best e-bike app?

I was more concerned with something related to navigation, running information such as distance, time, average speed ect. I am currently using cyclers and testing bikemap. I was wondering if anyone else is using something else and what the opinions are. As for a watch, I've had a Huawei GT264...

Help! Question for Bafang 850C dispaly owners.

No problem for me, with soldering (electrionics used to be my hobby a long time ago), but I don't want to open something that has a warranty. If in a year, when the problem returns, I will either sell this display (buy Bluetooth) or change the battery physically.

Help! Question for Bafang 850C dispaly owners.

I left the display on for 72h as written in the instructions, and I can see that it has started to keep time.

    Battery query

There is no such thing as a dedicated battery for your e-bike kit. You need a e-bike battery that has the same voltage as the motor (for simplification).

    Battery drains fast!

I did as you wrote, left the battery on. When the power supply turned green, it finished charging. The display shows 58.7~58.6 So rather correct. Perhaps I was expecting something different. As I pointed out at the beginning, this is my first e-bike. What surprised me was that suddenly from...

    Battery drains fast!

So: 1. Battery Off 2. Charger ON 3. Connect charger to battery 4. Battery switch ON Is that correct?

    Battery drains fast!

For clarity. I As the battery is fitted to the bike, can the battery switch be in the ON position when charging? I ask because I currently have 58.1V and when the battery is OFF the charger does not charge it lights up green. When I switch the battery on, the charger starts to work. Hence my...

    Battery drains fast!

I charged the battery, discharged to 22% From what I have read, a battery (52V) fully charged should be 58.8V Mine is 57.7V So well 1V below. Does anyone have a 52V battery and can confirm that a fully charged battery is 58.8V? Or there something wrong with mine though? I should add that the...

    Battery drains fast!

Still a question, when do you charge batweries? Every time you get home, or when the battery goes below a certain level? What level? Does this affect the life of the battery?

    Battery drains fast!

Average speed is betwin 21mph and 18 mph. I have no need to go faster. The weight of the bike together with me and a few things is around 120 kg. As for reprogramming the controller, I don't mind, especially if it increases the range. I'll probably look into it but I don't currently have the...

    Battery drains fast!

The fastest I've ridden is downhill pedalling at about 27 mph - I don't go faster than that because it's admittedly a new but cheapest bike, so I don't really want to risk it. I stop rather little, in 8 miles, maybe 5 times, mostly as a street crossing. The battery is new, I bought the whole set...
