Oh great lets hope I have saved the settings correctly. It dries up later so maybe get the chance to test it again.

Oh Heck! The police are checking Ebikes around here at the moment. I guess the only way round it is to repurpose the motor to another bike or use a 24v battery. I wonder if my speed calculation was off and it is indeed intended for a 20" as the ebay seller advertised!

I think I may have saved the settings. Unable to road test at the moment but spinning the crank indoors gets up to 26mph. I guess without any resistance this is normal?

I have had the bike running but cannot get it to save the maximum speed setting. The procedure I followed was: 1 Power on 2 hold up/down simultaniously 3 change speed to 15 4 change wheel to 27.5 5 change units to mph I then press power button once. It says hold down arrow again to enter units...

I know what you are saying. I should have been clearer that it is temporary. It screamed the same to me. That battery belongs to my Voodoo mid drive where it sits within the triangle. It is a rather large battery anyway at 31.5ah. The new battery will only be 12ah for my short Canal rides. I...

The only other thing concerning me is where the motor cable exits the Axle slot. There is a spring which is supposed to protect the cable. This would be fine if there was a sufficient radius but it seems like there is none. I think I will add the end of a nylon cable tie where it exits!

The only place to fit my battery on this frame is on the top tube which is only 32mm diameter. It was somewhat wobbly with standard rubber mounts. I bought a cheap rubber mallet chopped one end off and drilled and bored 32mm dia hole before cutting in half, adding flats and drilled for the...

I made the spacer for behind the disc adaptor. Basically, I bored another adaptor out and skimmed to the width needed. There is a minimal amount of adjustment needed on the caliper but not a washers worth, I will cut some shims out of a coke can to fine tune it. Would be nice if they made...

I just managed to stretch the frame from 135 to 157mm in two steps half/half. The flange offset is now about 5mm. Just need to file a little off the axle slots to seat the axle. Need a lie down then. Phew!

Makes perfect sense. As it is, the off set in the flanges is 10mm. I am going to make a spacer of say 5 mm to stay in tolerance. It is now going onto an Apollo Gradient 27.5 full suspension with disc brakes. It is the only bike I have with 36 hole to suit the motor and I dont want to be buying...

I Have also ordered some Disk brake adapters. 10 for £12.60 from Amazon (Not worth grinding a threading tool for my lathe at that price). So will have to check placement for that.

I am sure I will need to spring the frame. I normally do it 50/50. Is it not possible to do say 60/40 to centralise?
