Which car brands are worst for close passing?

Hertfordshire and Chilterns, the weapon of choice seems to be a Range Rover Evoque or Mini (BMW)... they ain't as small as they think they are!

    Thule pin adapter/socket

Pretty sure your 9906 is the right one, converts 7 pin on the car electrics to 13 pin on the trailer. (Your trailer plug has 5 blanks + 8 pins=13). (Thule buying guide:'If the car is equipped with a 7-pin electrical outlet this adapter converts it, making it possible to fit Thule’s 13-pin...

    Poor Customer Service - LEBC

Sorry, missed that as it was not in the OP. Sending an email doesn't sound like booking an appointment though. I think you have to cut dealers a bit of slack, they must get loads of contacts who do or don't show. If you book a day and time, best for all concerned.

    Poor Customer Service - LEBC

To maybe redress the balance a little bit, my dealings with LEBC, have always been excellent. Spent ages chatting with Tom at Redbridge, really helped with positive observations and advice. They have been prompt in contacting me about the purchase of my KTM and arranged a mutually convenient...

    Bike Carrier

Not sure how the Ducato rear opens, if it is an upward opening hatch, it should be OK. I used the Thule on a Skoda hatchback, there was easily enough clearance with two bikes to open the hatch. If anything D8veh's Cykell looks to have more clearance. No use on the Honda CRV though, the rear...

    Bike Carrier

I've got a Bosal removable hitch, which I think is a bit longer than the usual fixed ball, but means I couldn't use a spacer. Certainly the external tyre has been not been an issue with my setup, but maybe anyone considering one of these types of carriers on an SUV needs to bear it in mind...

    Bike Carrier

Looks a great design, but only 1.6kg lighter than the Thule Europower, which surprised me, appearances are deceptive. Deal breaker for me, is that it says not suitable for cars with an external rear spare. But, then again, I was advised that I would need an attachment for the Thule which reduced...

    Adding lights and mudguards

On the subject of lights, some KTMs come with wired in lights, I am presuming working off the light switch on the control panel. Is it possible to retrofit to the eRaceP, an led light operating off the console/battery, like the ones d8veh has used? I guess the word, 'warranty' is going to pop...

    Falco e-motors kickstarter project

I think I mentioned in another post that I had a Falco Hx-250-FS 11.5BB for seven months. Good points: Quiet, very quick on the flat. Bad points: Poor climbing, faded badly on hills in Chilterns. Battery life was poor, lucky to manage 24 miles on flat towpaths, could just about get from...

    Hi....in need of KTM advice....

Yup! There's a man who knows his Downs and his chalk, steep and scary yes, but not at my sort of speed. Have to say the eRaceP climbed it fine.

    Hi....in need of KTM advice....

I'm 13st 6lbs, was managing 36 miles on South Downs Way with about 17% to spare, mostly done on eco setting, using auto on steeper climbs and regen on descents. So yes, a second charger would, as Artstu suggested, be necessary, they ain't cheap, I seem to remember seeing £134 quoted somewhere...

    Hi....in need of KTM advice....

Probably sold them all, because they are so good! You could try phoning a few stockists, FLIdistibution could help out. London Electric Bike Company look as if they might have one in stock. Best of luck, the Panasonic hub is a fantastic motor, the whole KTM package is a great bike.

    Puncture resistant tyres query

I used the Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB for about a year and a half without any punctures, these were fitted after green gloopy tube stuff totally failed to seal tiny flint hole. Riding on mixture of surfaces, trails on chalk and flint, roads and canal paths with usual canal path sharps! Only...

How many people are using there e-bike off-road?

Eddie, not keen on this new 'Pedelec Porn' thread..... cue... slow pan upwards... reveal Eddie forefinger in mouth, other hand stroking BH battery trying to squeeze out an extra mile...!!! Personally, I think the shot needs a little improvement, could you maybe bend one knee inwards...
