Not exactly e-bike related this one but then again its contributing to my peace of mind and therefore safety, so ???

My VT200 vape mod's battery died, its labelled 11.1v 1300mah 30c series high discharge fitted with an xt30 plug ,on removing its turning into a pillow/balloon.

I can find 3 cell packs on RC hobby sites but on the UK sites i have browsed there is no discharge max current listed for the batteries.

A 20a load would be a very safe level, and beyond the capacity of the device to draw,

could someone suggest a suitable battery/supplier dimensions 40mm x 22mm x 180mm.

Cheers regardless

You should look for 3S lipos from Hobbyking. There are loads there. Most are over 30C.
Cheers.. a little further googling informed me the meaning of the 30c, Yeah slow and dim today..

just checking i have read correctly? the max draw for a 1300mah 30c battery is 1.3 x 30 = 39A..

and while the max possible draw of the device at full power circa 12v 200w= 16.6666A

I rarely use it with more than 50w so am now a bit more confident
looking, but am aware of the impact of a 'smaller in mah' battery will have if needed to fit in the space available.

Nobody specifies current. You get three parameters: number of cells (S), capacity (mAh) and C-rating. After that, it's down to shape and size.
