see he fixed it and jump starts it with part of a washing machine lmfao.

i cant get anyone to touch anything with switching power supply's because if you have to fault find it ends up not being worth it.

but i can have a go if i can get the parts cheap enough but god knows what that thing looks like inside as it is huge not far off the same size as our gas boiler.

:p

looks easy until you see the other side and the logic parts chips ect but some times a big black mark points to whats up caps or fkn short to ground and then it is finding it.

id say thats the best it has managed export wise on 29 sep it is trying to do it but it is being kicked back down like a bms saying forget it and off you go.

the panels work but i only have 2.6kw and 8 panels that they also dont bother to clean either

only 1 person up my road has had lcx out to look at there solar panels bar one that had to remove them all because there roof was collapsing tiles falling off and a water fall when it rained in her bed room.

guy 2 doors down also has holes in his roof under his panels and also never checked and came out and fitted a bucket and im not fkn joking either.

tho the one with the panels removed now has a brand new roof and i rang them 5 times as if they dont fix it and fast the fkn thing will fall in and take next doors roof with it.

been waiting 8 years for a new bathroom because there contractors over the years have bodged it to a point the hole floor has to be removed and stripped back to nothing.

if i never got this thing it would have just carried on until someones house burns down there absolute morons. no accountability and just dont care as long as they get there rent and council tax.

under pay buy 10 quid and out in there little noddy car hand delivering eviction notice for non payment o_O

You still don't seem to understand how this works. The inverter doesn't know where the electricity it produces goes. All it does is output a voltage that is slightly above the mains voltage so it can push its power out. This is what your generation CT clamp is telling you. Once the electricity has been generated it will take the path of least resistance so will power your house loads first with the rest being exported. Nothing is 'kicking it down', if it was the generation figure would be the one that dropped.

yet it will not export with big loads on it the warning light is on the bloody thing is locked it has never been serviced it does try to export and can see that every one i have spoken to says it is not right no matter how the ct clamps are connected says the same thing as well as the meter for the inverter on the wall it is not exporting bugger all.

and it is locked and nothing can be changed either and it is out of warranty as only 5 years what do you expect from a council lol

8.2.7. Inverter It is recommended that the inside of the inverter is checked by the system installer for humidity and dust every 3 – 4 years.

chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/http://www.1010.cz/eltek.pdf

The recalled inverters measure about 28 inches high by 14 inches wide by 6.5 inches deep. They were sold in four different kilowatt ratings: 2.0 kW, 2.9 kW, 3.8, kW, and 4.4 kW. “Eltek,” and the model designation “THEIA” and “HE-t” are printed on the front display panel of the inverter. The inverters could be installed in different places in consumers’ homes.

Label with model designation “THEIA” and “HE-t”
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled inverters, turn off the switch on the inverter’s front cover, switch off the circuit breaker for the inverter and contact Delta Electronics USA to arrange for a free replacement inverter

and after 37 phone calls i got hold of one of the top tech guys at delta that made the bloody things and said they are out of the solar game and have been since dec 2011.

they make switch mode power supply's now, i can fix those, and batts so when this council had these fitted in around 2015 there was no warranty from the oem in the first place and thus why they have never been serviced at all!

i told him what was going on with mine and even he said shut it down as with no warranty it is at your own risk esp with nearly 40.000hrs on it.

my gui is kaput they dont have any and cant even remember who made them so this thing is a bin job unless i can salvage any parts out of it.

there was no recall for the uk version but as this thing has never been serviced in the right way cleaned out or anything to what it says in the manual says it all, reset it to get ride of the warning light job done

and i got the passwords to unlock it all and if i had a lap top can log in to it via the network port with a cable and see everything ffs.

looks like it will be around £3.15-20 today so not saving me nearly nothing with it on anyway they can rewire it in to the shed as i dont care if it blows up in there just not above my fkn head:eek:

also lcx after putting my foot on there neck admit they do not service inverters!!! they only install new ones and monitor them.

Solar photovoltaics (PV) System Monitoring
Whether you require Feed-in-Tariff meter reads or management of your Smart Export Guarantee (SEG), we have you covered. Remote monitoring is a key component of our package, guaranteeing the safety, cleanliness, and maximum energy generation of your system. While solar PV systems are well known for their durability and low maintenance requirements, regular checks and monitoring are essential to ensure optimal capacity and return on investment.
Our solutions allow our clients to focus their expertise on their business while we look after the administration and management of their microgeneration systems. Monitoring allows us to detect any negative effects often caused by environmental factors. This guides us toward timely remediation efforts, restoring your system to optimal performance.
Investing in remote monitoring and regular maintenance is the most effective way to extract the full potential and minimise losses from your Solar PV system. With our monitoring services, you can have peace of mind that your renewable technology is operating efficiently.

what fkn maintenance in 5 years will be back out again to replace it as out of warranty and never serviced again! because they dont do that.

tbh they will all have gone bust buy then ill fkn service it my self i have a hoover multimeter and a network cable :p

delta also make server power supply's they have 2 or more for a reason and nothing lasts forever ;)
