I wonder if there would still be a market for a collapsible scooter?

I don't see why not, that's as compact as many folding electric bikes!

Looks very neat too, though probably not a cool image. Would rather let down the Armani and shades look.

The original folding scooter was the Welbike. It was made to fit in a standard four foot long tube to be dropped by parachute onto battlefields,and had a Villiers 98cc engine. After WW2, it was developed for civilian use and re-badged as a "Corgi". I rode one a couple of times in the late 1950s.

It's not a nice looking thing! I think there would be a market for something that looks cool though.
