any advice appreciated.

Whilst out this morning, having ridden about 15 miles, the drive to the motor stopped completely.

Battery is showing four bars,so plenty of power available ( tried my spare battery on it, makes no difference).

The rear speed sensor (magnet) is in place.

No error codes at all on the display.

Doesn't show any real time speed, but all the other functions work perfectly on the display.

Any ideas?

I will take the covers off the motor housing once I have had something to eat and drink.

Yes, magnet in line, hasn't altered since day one.

Just had the casing off, given everything in there a good clean.

Cleaned all the contacts with electrical spray to disperse any moisture.

Still the same, no difference.

It's just like the bike doesn't recognise there is a motor.

No speed indicated, all contacts clean, wiring ok , no cuts or abrasions.

Looks like I will contact the dealer for advice etc, doesn't look good though.

No error code message at all.

if there are no error codes then there is not much to go on tbh, tho sounds like it has died so id get in touch with the dealer to swap out the motor under warranty.

You don't say you've had the display off, but I'm guessing you have?

could be just a power cable has come loose inside the motor but you nor the dealer are allowed to open them to see so will have to go back to bosch.

no error codes means no power getting to the motor.

I don't quite understand, but I just went into the garage to get some beer

And I thought I would turn the bike on, just hoping....

It now works.

I don't understand unless the electrical contact spray has needed time to drive out and poor connection / dampness.

I will still contact my dealer to explain, but my confidence in the bike has suffered a bit of a blow.

The problem has returned.

I have been in touch with the dealer who sold me the bike, and they have contacted Bosch.

Bosch are going to send a person out to meet me at my house, apparently he has spares and diagnostic tools to hopefully pin point the problem.
