can you use comfort bar ends with a bar end mirror?

I've come to regard my bar end mirror as indispensable but if I fit comfort bar ends I can't see how the mirror is going to work - anyone done it?

I have a mirror that fits inside the handlebar end. I use bar ends with a fitting like these:

Depends on what type of comfort ends. I have ones easily fitted to Ergon grips, even the ones with 'cow horns'

You can get larger ergon bar ends than the G2 cow horn size. This is the G5 Not cheap but I love the cow horn ones. The 'stopper' on the end allows the mirror mounting to slide inside the handlebar tube. I use Zefal mirrors, easy to flip out of the way and adjust. Like you, My wife and I do not like cycling without a mirror. Pays to know what behind!
