Carrea Vengence Torque Sensor Fault

I had the unfortunate luck of buying my son a carrea Vengence emtb last year and its recently developed an error e21.

I looked at it today and found that one of the plastic mouldings that keeps the torque censor in place as sheered off.

Ive discovered that parts aren't available so im basically screwed. Anyone have any suggestions? Pic of fault attached.

I would try to bodge a new mounting. Doesn't need to be pretty, just effective.

I made a new peg for mine out of epoxy putty. You can also hold it in place with a zip tie.

Update, i took it back to halfords and pretended I had no idea what was wrong. It was just out of warranty but I got them to fit a new one for free... only problem is now that it may happen again so ill sell the bike and get a better one.
