Carrera cross city electric bike key

Hi we have 2 x Carrera cross city electric bikes and since moving house in January can't find the keys . How do I determine how to get replacement keys. All I have is the code on the lock. I had spoken to Halfords who where next to useless. I guess I would need the battery manufacturer and go from there to acertain the lock type. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Mark.

If you have no luck with getting keys, try Jiggler keys.

Yes it is possible that there aren't to many differing key numbers.

I bought two of those Argos folding bikes from different places at different tomes and they both have the same keys.

Those locks nearly always open with jiggler keys. You have to research how to use jiggler keys. You don't just put them in and turn like a normal key. You have to twist and rake. When the lock opens, remove it from the battery, disassemble it (one screw or clip). As the barrel comes out, all the tumblers and springs will fall out. Remove them all, then put the lock back together and it'll work with any key, screwdriver or blade. This is the easiest, quickest, cheapest and simplest solution.
