I was given a cress fire - E which had been working great however.... I went over a very small (tree root in tarmac) bump and all power cut out with 2 errors displayed. I have fixed those however... I cannot get the power assist to work. I had to replace the anti rotation washer, and now have got a new motor (well 2nd hand off my mum's unridden crossfire-E) but I cannot get it working. There is power and the controller works to change speed, measure distance, and detect speed but no power assist!!

Halfords are 3+ miles away which my 5yr old can't walk, I don't drive, no local ebike repairs will consider looking at it.

Any ideas? Where can I look? Can anyone talk me through fixing it?

Thank you

The torque sensor is on the back of the chainwheel. You might have pulled or otherwise damaged the wires. Also the motor connector under the left side chainstay is very dodgy. have a good look at it and make sure all the pins are in and that it's properly connected.
