Carrera Vulcan E Bike E42 Fault

I bought a secondhand carrera vulcan e bike with a e42 fault,and the fault is intermittant ,if i switch the bike on say for a few mins and is stationary the bike is ok then suddenly the e42 starts flashing on the screen,so i turn off then on again and no e42 fault !!! then later fault starts again,sometimes if the bike is moved slightly the fault comes back,im confused as someone stated on a site that it cant be a hall effect as the problem is intermittant,so could it be the cable faulty ???? if so who sells this motor cable ??? please could someone advise me as to the problem.

Check the motor connector under the left side chainstay.

I pulled the cable connector apart and checked the pins and socket and sprayed switch cleaner but problem still persists.

E42 is motor Hall error but as said intimmittent does suggest a wire break issue or connection issue . It doesn't though rule out the wiring on the motor side.
When the fault disappears, wiggle/ move the wiring in various places to see if and when it appears.

i tried wiggling the motor cable but it did not provoke the fault,i also tapped the cable with a piece of wood but still the fault didnt appear,but sometimes if the bike was shook a little then the E42 would flash on the screen
