Charging Lipos in parallel.

Morning folks,

My power supply finally arrived for my BC168 balance charger.

The question is, can I plug both of my 5.2Ahr Lipos in to the board supplied with the charger, so they charge at the same time? I charged them separately yesterday.

Also, I'm charging to 4.15v at 4.5amps, does this seem sensible?

You can, I do but ensure the batteries are not still connected in series and are totally separate first. Also make sure the batteries are about the same voltage too when connecting. Charging to 4.15v is what I do too.
What power supply you using? I could do with one with a bit more power.

I bought a simple 30A power supply from BangGood.

It's a bit noisy but is working fine so far with the BC168 balance charger. The cells charge up very quickly. I might open it up and put a quiet computer fan in and see if that improves things.

Looks a good cheap idea. Might give one a try as my 7a psu gets pretty hot even when charging really slow.
