Cyclotricity 1000W. Battery won't stay on.

I've had this Cyclotricity Stealth 4 years now and tonight it suddenly developed a problem. I put the battery on (switch on the battery) the blue light come on. I then hold the middle button of the LCD display and it lights up as normal showing the current power setting and the level of the batty. However when I let go instead of the LCD staying on it goes off.

Anyome had this/solved it/ got an idea what could be the problem?

Your battery did really well to last that long unless you don't use it very much. Check the battery 2-pin connector on both sides for signs of burning. After that, check the solder joints on the back of those pins on the controller side, then anything else between there and where the wires go into the controller itself, not just the black box.

I have 2 batteries and I alternate them. I don't do more than 5 miles per week. Both batteries do same thing.
