Deep cycle NOT ebike battery question

Hi

I have an old 12v 120ah deep cycle battery that has not been used in ages (over a year). Is it likely dead if currently at low voltage?

They can often be revived. Stick it on a charger for a few days and see.

If you want to be adventurous, you could attempt to de-sulphate with a short burst of a higher voltage. I've seen Utube footage of people doing this with 110v ac! (I don't recommend it though).

Make sure you use an ordinary trickle charger, not a so-called 'smart' one.

They read the battery voltage and will not give any charge if the voltage is too low.
