Electrical upgrade.

I have a Haibike trekking Pro which I bought in 2015. I'd love to upgrade the voltage from 6 volts to 12 going to the front light as in their latest bikes which come with a Lupine SL B.

Would this be pretty straight forward to do, provided I obtain the correct converter/inverter, if indeed there is such an item.

Your views and /or advice would be very grateful.

If it has a Bosch motor, most versions can be re-programmed from 6v to 12v by the dealer. It's a simple software setting in motor - BDU250C/255C (active line), which is the old one, and all performance line and CX motors. The new active line is only 12V.

I'll get in touch with my dealer straight away, and yes, my bike has the Bosch Performance motor.
