January 17, 20188 yr Most interested to hear what engineers and business make of this one https://newatlas.com/revolve-foldable-modular-wheel/52966/#gallery Is it truly as amazing as it looks or does it create new issues (strength and ride quality for one) But for last mile or two commute might it be a go-er ?
January 17, 20188 yr It's an interesting idea but I don't think it will change the basic bicycle. If anything, it has too many fragile components.
January 17, 20188 yr Clever, but probably to fragile for practical use. More importantly though, it's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. .

Top point, yep totally get that But as someone who lugged a Brompton through the London Underground for years and rode on bad roads and canal paths...I like the idea of full size wheels at Brompton folded sized one
January 17, 20188 yr ..I like the idea of full size wheels at Brompton folded sized one But the Brompton folded size of this is much wider than a normal wheel, not to mention that they couldn't fold like this inside a bike frame or forks. Would you want foot wide forks or have to take both wheels out ? .
