Hello, I have a giant energypak 400. I’m having trouble with it because when I hold the power button on the battery it flickers red on the first bar and then 3rd and skips the rest.. I know the battery is charging because my giant charger is red (meaning charging) plus it flickers red from bar one and up towards 5 but the flashing from the 1st bar to 3rd is what I’m confused about.

When you hold the battery button down on many batteries for 10 seconds or more it's either showing the state of cell health (representative of how many full charge cycles it's done/has left... like 4 bars = 80%, 3 bars = 60% etc), or a fault condition. You need to look it up in your bike manual because what those flashing lights mean will be specific to your bike/battery maker.

Giant batteries will need a dealer to check it's health as they use CAN type systems,
a manual may help you find the function of the buttons but there will b elittle one can do if it has a fault.
One of the bike brands very rarely is recommended on this forum.

You can use the Giant ride control app to check battery health if the bike is less than around 5 years old
