Hi

I have a spent a few hours on the settings of the KT LCD3. Searching the internet trying to make sense of it all.

I have the following kit

Bafang G020.250 code 13
27.5” wheel
48v 7ah battery
KT 15a controller
Push throttle

I will add a pas when I get a chance. I have set the wheel size in the settings.

The settings I have on my LCD3 are as follows. Can someone please let me know if they seem ok?

P1=100
P2=6
P3=1
P4=0
P5=8

C1=2
C2=0
C3=8
C4=4. 50
C5=10
C6=1
C7=1
C8=0
C9=0
C10=n
C11=0
C12=4
C13=0
C14=2 we

Thanks

Your bike should basically work at them settings. But I would suggest/comment the following.
P2 is set for 6 speed sensor magnets. If speed wrong and wheel has only 1 magnet, set P2=1.
C1 may have to be changed (e.g C1=07) depending on PAS type fitted.
C4 = 4 means the throttle is restricted/limited by the pas level. I would change to C4=0 which gives full throttle and is useful for quick getaways (from dogs etc).
On the subject of the throttle, there is a legal requirement (here in Ireland) that its necessary to be pedaling for the throttle to work. This can be done by setting P4=1 and C4=3 (as well as limiting the speed if you want to stay legal) if its necessary, but it does make starting off harder on the knees as you must be pedaling/moving before the motor kicks in.(particularly if you are in a high gear)
C7=1 your cruise control is enabled.

P1 depends on the internal gearing reduction used, one assumes 4.4 x motor winding magnets 20 ? This would give a figure of approx. 88, the input value correlates with the odo speed reading which one can varify with a GPS for accuracy.
Adj the numeric value down if reading is to high or upif to low.
C1 is dependant on the PAS sensor type used and one settings doesn't suit all.
