New BBC4 Programme

I’ve just seen a promotion for a BBC4 programme which focuses on the lives of women. It’s a kind of collage of short excerpts of various women’s lives.

Someone has taken the decision to call this programme about women, Snatches.

It could do, but some people might not find it very fanny.

Years ago I did some work in a special school. At end of lesson we had 10 mins to kill. Had a quiz. One of questions was.. "What is Queens surname?".. General look of bewilderment. Then a little lad put his hand up and blurted out in excitement..
"Vagina"..
Funny thing was nobody in class reacted at all... Not a stifled laugh or anything...
I asked why he thought vagina.
His answer.
"You've heard people say Elizabeth vagina haven't you sir"...
"Well, actually no, but I see your thinking Michael."!
