Help appreciated. On my Bafang BS01B I fitted a new controller. The old one had blown. I tested it on the bench and it worked. I disconnected the battery and plugged it in again but got a flash. After that the display a C961 still works but the motor does not drive. Walk assist does not work either but the display shows walk assist when the - button is pressed. I connected the motor to my computer and was able to read and write the controller settings. Thanks

Sounds like you have a problem between motor and controller, check the connectors inside the controller housing, they can become dislodged when refitting.

wheeliepete Thanks so much for your suggestion, which I followed, and it is working fine now. :) For anyone else with a similar problem it did work when I first assembled it, see my first post, but it stopped working very soon afterwards. When I fixed the motor connections today I slightly ovalled the female side to tighten them so that hopefully they will not come loose again.
