Odd Bosch battery glitch

Hope that this makes sense..

Two Bosch powered bikes, both with the same 400wh battery, but one of the batteries has an odd glitch with it.

Bike 'A' can use the battery pack from either bike.
Bike 'B' had/has a new battery which was charged and taken on holiday with me to use as a spare for bike 'A' which served it's purpose well, but was never fitted to bike 'B'

Now that I want to fit the new battery onto bike 'B' it displays an error 530 code (battery pack) and won't work.

Put the battery back onto bike 'A' and it is fine, and put the battery pack from bike 'A' onto bike 'B' and that also works.

So why would both battery packs work on bike 'A' but not on bike 'B'.

Makes no sense to me.

For what it's worth, each of my three Bosch batteries work on both of my Bosch bikes.

I did wonder about the AVE bike and battery when I bought it because the bike has the original smaller handlebar display.

Vague memory that holding the button battery down on the Bosch battery for 20 seconds or so makes it reset? Can't remember where / when I heard that or even if it is true but possibly worth a try?

Thanks for the replies. It's certainly an odd an annoying glitch. I'll try the reset approach a little later.
