Hi all,

I have the exact same issue with my mothers bike as this thread here: https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/threads/pendleton-somerby-ebike-battery.37190/#post-552279

As the bikes been sat for nearly a year uncharged I am assuming that one of the cell groups has dropped below 3.2v and as such needs sorted.

I've had a look around but can't find a guide on how to sort this.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of a how to as I'm keen not to give Halfrauds £300 for a replacement!

Thanks

Dave

Exactly the same - Light comes on and goes off straight away.
Searching around online suggests the same as I mentioned above which is one of the cell packs has dropped below threshold and the BMS isn't allowing charging.

Hence me asking if theres a guide on fixing that as I couldn't see one linked in the original thread.

There is no guide, the only guide is us when we give the advice of how to carry out such checks.

You might find a detailed step by step guide for thst particular battery, but maybe not. Some general ideas are explained here (but for a different battery);

First consider if you have sufficient experience of electrical\electronics stuff to dismantle, repair and re-assemble the battery in a completly safe manner.

Even if there is one or more banks of cells over discharged what would you intend to do about it, it may not be a straight forward issue to fix.
