I have a 16-inch hub motor wheel with an 8 speed cassette on it. I wanted to swap it out for a shimano hg50 cassette I have that has a lower tooth count. Unfortunately when I removed the wheel I found the cassette wasn't quite what I was used to (see the attached pic).
Teh remover I ave doesn't quite fit and it's recessed in rather than on the surface as on my other non-electric bikes.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how I remove this and what type of cassette I need if the hg50 isn't compatible?
Thanks
K

That's a freewheel, not a cassette, so you need a freewheel tool and yourvHG50 won't fit.

Ah thanks. That's a shame. No experience with freewheels and now I have to find a 8-speed with 11 teeth which seems like a challenge.
At least I'm going in the right direction now :)

Ask d8veh as he had some 11t DNP's on Fleabay or get one from Cyclezee also seen on Fleabay.
2 from d8veh
Saw the ones on ebay and noticed the name :) Looks like those are pretty much the only make available and mostly US from what Google tells me.
I'll give him a shout.
Thanks
