S900

I have a S900 display that has a 36v/48v setting, could it work if it was powered by the 52v battery. It currently has a C961 display connected to it??.
The C961 is ok, but i do prefer the S900 over the C961.
Which one would you choose out of the 2 of them and why?

What voltage is the bike currently working on?
What voltage is the controller rated at?
You cannot bung a higher voltage battery onto a system, just because the display has different settings, without possibly blowing the controller.

Benjahmin, the ebike is powered by a 52v battery and has a 48v controller. The motor is a RM G036 BAFANG 1000w D. Hope this helps.

I'm not clear what it is you're wanting to do.
If you just want to change the display then it has to be the same make as the controller. Generally they are bought as a pair to ensure they will 'talk' to each other.

The current controller is a Bafang C961, but the controller i cant find out what make it is. I emailed the companys website 2 weeks ago but no reply and scouted the internet for some info but at a loss.
Its only i'd like to swop display but if can not then no worries, i will stick with the current one.

The C961 lcd is usually a Bafang BBS display though looks like it has software and programming to suit the Lishui controller, you will need a Lishui compatible lcd for all features to work otherwise you will get limited info and likely maybe PAS1.

I have an old BBS blown controller and will look for any branding as it may even be by Lishui, there is no harm in trying the s900 it will work giving 100% features or will only work with approx 25% pf the features. If the latter you will then know it's not compatible.
