I have seen plenty of 14 AWG silicone wire available as single core but does anyone know where you can get twin core?

The whole point of it is heat resistance (from the inside) and insulation. Twin core wouldn't make sense. What are you trying to achieve?

Personally I like to use silicon insulated multi strand copper wire for its higher flexibility over any pvc type insulation I've found ( especially at lower temperatures )
I buy single strand from both eBay and Hobbyking,
As yet I've not see multi strand but I'd like some twin for my lights ;)

Just done a quick Google and the first hit gave me possibly a perfect cycle lighting cable ( it dosent show the length per unit so I'm assuming it's 1 metre)
http://www.designacable.com/twin-conductor-silicone-rubber-cable-2x0-4mm-6amp-suitable-for-dc-applications.html

And it's on eBay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Twin-Core-Silicone-Rubber-Cable-2x0-4mm-Conductors-6amp-DC-Wiring-Cord-/152000411964
And on the ebay listing they say:
SOLD BY THE METER (eg; order a quantity of 2 to receive 1 x 2m length of cable)
