Since I built it, the new owner upgraded it with £1500 worth of Shimano di gears and other stuff. This must now be one of the best electric MTBs there is.
For those that didn't see the previous thread, It's a carbon fibre Trek Top Fuel 9.9 with Bafang BBSHD middle motor, a Q128 front motor and a 19Ah 52v Em3ev triangle battery.
It rides just like any good quality electric MTB with the BBSHD on low power, but on level 7 and the throttle-only Q128 helping it, it rushes up to 40 mph and tops out at about 44 mph. It's very sure footed and the brakes are superb.
