The technical section is only for fairly permanent items, not for passing queries, which is why it can't be posted into. Equally the FAQ section is for things that often crop up, hence the "Frequently" bit. Any e-bike problems should just be posted in the main Electric Bikes forum where everyone will see them.

However, on to the problem. :)

It sound like a Hall sensor problem, either the wiring from them to the controller is still in trouble or one of the sensors is dud, but that assumes this is a Hall motor with eight wires, three thick phase wires for power and five thin wires for the Hall effect feedback. I don't specifically know that motor since Thompsons have a number of models and two generations of motor, 180 Watt and 200 Watt.

The only information I can give is generic, and we had a thread on identifying a dud Hall sensor and replacing it in an eZee Torq 1 recently, from which you may be able to derive enough to carry out a repair.
