Top speed issue

My fun2ride ebike scooter moped. won't exceed 20kmph used to do 25kph.
No brakes binding wheel moves freely on motor and good battery. Any ideas please.

imo the batt is loosing its capacity so cant supply the amps needed for top speed anymore and you will soon get voltage sag and it will turn off.

You say 'good battery' - Good in what respect and what is it's age and how many miles has it been used for?

I thought like that but fitted a brand new battery and had same issue.

Hi people I fitted a battery from another bike and made no difference today I wired 3 car batteries and charger. Giving 41.7 volts it made 14.5mph. Disconnected the charger and as the volts dropped as did the speed. Thinking of fitting a 48v 20ah battery.
