And without resorting to steroids from lancearmstrong.com. Cadence sensing mid-drive with a large capacity battery driving a 20" rear wheel, is a great combination for dragging cargo and/or fatsos up to higher altitudes. Easier, now that I have increased motor power from the legal 540W I was using back then, to an equally legal 720W. Gain altitude with relaxed attitude with your fully programmable Bafang BBS01B mid-drive, if you can find one. Punier motors need not apply. I was fatter then too.

It's welded with an ancient sip stick welder. 40 yr old big heavy transformer lump. I'm sorely tempted by the hand held stick guns that keep popping up on Facebook.
Yes, I forgot, welded not brazed. Thanks for pointing those out, I had no idea they could be picked up so cheap.

Wouldnt mind knowing a bit more about arc welding kit available these days. Did a bit when younger, but not enough to know what I'd be looking for.

If they're the same ones as I see on YouTube ads, they're completely fake. They show you welding with a £15,000 laser welder, and they send you a soldering iron.
