Hi
My daughters charger has stopped working so I went online to get her another but instead got confused.

The bike is second hand and the charger they gave with it is a 29v 2A and the battery is 36v 10Ah. Looking around, it seems that 36v batteries have 42V chargers.

Have they given me the wrong charger when I bought the bike? The family did have multiple bikes so it is possible they got mixed up.

What charger should I order for a 36v lithium battery? 29v or 42v?

Thanks

Your 36v battery requires a 42v 2 amp charger. Looks like you have a charger for a 24v battery. If your battery has a 3 pin charging socket you will need a multi meter to check which pins are +/-, as they can differ.

Thanks - ordered a new 42v
I know the xlr pin 1 is positive and the spec of new charger matches
