That's the same as the one I have advertised in the Classifieds on this website except mine is medium frame and has more extras. I have placed it several times over the last couple of months with no interest shown which surprised me very much. My asking price is at £1150 so I think I will now be looking to put it on ebay where that bike got 35 bids.

The motor sprocket wears quickly and leads to strange noises. It is easy to change and can be turned over to see if the noise then goes away.

Exactly what happened to me. You can't beat Marathon Plus.

Here is some feedback which might not be appreciated by some! I had a lot of trouble finding the right saddle when I started cycling about 7 years ago. It is very important to get the right type of saddle and also to have it set-up correctly. I had a lot of discomfort initially as I had the seat wrong - angled up or horizontal which caused problems for me. I had a PSA blood test as part of my medical MOT about that time and it showed a raised reading. This eventually led to tests and the outcome was that the prostrate had suffered inflammation at some point and calcification had resulted. I think this was due to the incorrect seat position. The problem nowadays is that most bike positions are where the rider leans forward and this can result in pressure on the soft tissue. In the past bikes were more of a sit-up riding position. I tried a number of different seats and eventually settled for a Rido 2 after reading about it on this website. This seat while not the most comfortable has your 'sit bones' supported thus avoiding any damage to softer tissue.

I only bought it to beat the traffic jams when going to and from work. It was only 6 miles each way but the bike halved the time taken. I'm not the slightest bit interested in cycling for fun and would rather walk.

The bike has the 18A battery which has all 5 lights on. Problem about this size battery is that no one knows how long they are going to last!

I haven't sold anything on ebay before. I bought something off it last week but the last minute bidding got a bit frantic as the time started to run out. I think I paid about £1900 for the PC Disc last March. Is £1250 a reasonable ask?

I thought that I would easily sell my 12 month old Proconnect Disc when I retired recently but even though there have been hundreds of views in the classifieds on this website I haven't had a single reply. At £1250 ovno it seems a bargain to me. How should I calculate its value? Are there any other ebike websites that I could advertise it on?

I bought one a few years ago. I used it when a car turned sharp left in front of me and he nearly went of the road. Also used it at a taxi driver with his car parked over the cycle lane and he went off it sounding his horn repeatedly as I disappeared down the road. He had been waiting for some one and was reclined back in his seat. When I hit the horn his head almost went through the roof of the car. I decided that it wasn't worth upsetting people so removed the horn and now I try to ride with awareness and keep out of trouble. The horn also affected the bike stability slightly in strong winds.

Update on the sprocket noise. I finally got round to changing just the 11T motor sprocket this afternoon and what a difference it makes. The one I took off has wear on the teeth but just on one side so it would be possible to flip it over and reuse it. I'm very surprised at how easy it was to fix.

Last July there was a lot of discussion on this Forum about noisy and slipping sprockets on the ProConnect Disc. A temporary solution was to use a cable tie on the rear arm tensioner. The solution seemed to be a larger motor sprocket and chain wheel and that worked for me. The parts were supplied free of charge by 50C. After about 1400 miles the problem has returned so the cable tie method is in use again. I sent 50C a message asking them if a solution had been found to this problem. I got a reply asking what mileage I had done and what size sprockets were fitted. I replied but received no reply from them. I sent the email again but still nothing. Obviously there is something wearing but can anyone suggest what it might be? I don't want to have to replace all sprockets and chain every 1400 miles at a cost of about £50

The ice is really scary. I've come off twice in the past. Apart from damage to yourself you also have to consider damage to an expensive ebike. It isn't worth risking it and this year I think I will take the local transport on icy days. I left my PC parked up exposed to a sub zero wind last winter and when I switched on there was nothing. After that I always parked in a sheltered place.

I packed the battery housing with some rubber but have just noticed on returning home tonight that the stand is very loose. Both screws needed a full turn each so that is probably what has been rattling!

I have had to have a look at the battery housing on my PC Disc this afternoon as the battery is rattling quite badly. The bike is only 7 months old. There doesn't seem to be any adjustment on the lock. I wonder if this has happened because the battery is bigger and heavier. There appear to be wear marks where it sits in the housing

I use a Cateye 'Opticube' rear light in flashing mode all the time which is mounted on my seat post. It has two banks of led lights and is visible even in bright sunlight. I also have it angled up slightly so that lorry drivers will see it. When I first started doing this several years ago I noticed that 'most' drivers gave me more space when passing. The two AA batteries last for ages as well, so it doesn't cost much to run.

................OR the tyres might go off, or they might be the wrong colour!!! I have been a fan for years but please bring back REAL F1 racing!!!!!!!!

Do the high prices mean that second hand values will be good? I paid £1950 for my 2011 ProConnect Disc. I intend to give up cycling in Apr 2012. Will I be able to recover a large part of that outlay for the bike? If there is such a big demand maybe I should start a waiting list of potential buyers now!

The tyres have had to go back to Kalkhoff in Germany via 50C, but still no reply - what a service from Kalkhoff.
